Webinar: Active Shooter Awareness Training for Schools

This presentation covers recommended policies and procedures for reacting to an active shooter event at a school. The material is intended to educate employees and students on the dangers of the standard “Lockdown,” with an in-depth discussion on why having options can save lives. This webinar will cover recommended options, including Run Hide Fight and ALICE.

Watch this webinar to learn how to:

  • Determine whether or not their organization has an available and current active shooter policy
  • Review the General Adaptation Syndrome (Fight/Flight) and how it affects decision making when under stress
  • List the three basic options someone in an active shooter situation can exercise (Run, Hide, Fight)
  • Describe the ALICE options, specifically the need for communication
