Jordan Nguyen
Biography
Jordan is a first-generation graduate dedicated to bridging the gap between culture and the stigma surrounding health and human rights. With a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Public Health, specializing in Health Policy and Management, alongside a minor in Political Science from UC San Diego, he aims to strive towards health equity and social justice.
Prior to joining the Labor Occupational Health Program (LOHP), Jordan contributed to research efforts at San Diego City College. As a research assistant, he explored innovative strategies focused on enhancing the student experience across various departmental programs. Now at the LOHP, Jordan aspires to utilize his research skills and public health knowledge to drive meaningful impact in working communities, believing that healthy jobs are a fundamental human right.
