This report summarizes findings from the evaluation conducted after the third year of California’s Heat Illness Prevention Campaign. It is divided into two sections. The first focuses on the process evaluation and the activitiescarried out in 2012, as part of the contract the Department of Industrial Relations negotiated with the University of California.
The second section presents the findings of the outcome evaluation on the effectiveness of the campaign, measured through follow-up surveys with workers, employers and community organizations.
