
Angela Mora
Biography
Angela is a second-year Master of Public Health student in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at UC Berkeley, where she also earned her B.A. in Public Health. Born and raised in California’s Salinas Valley, she hopes to return to her community to advance public health initiatives. Her research interests include social and occupational epidemiology, as well as mental health advocacy and promotion.
She has experience teaching undergraduate courses and tutoring graduate-level epidemiology courses at UC Berkeley. Additionally, she has clinical experience as an EMT in Alameda County.
In her current role at LOHP, Angela supports research on the efficacy of mental health interventions following workplace violence and disasters.
